Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Ngoc Thuy – President of HSU performed the drumming ceremony to start the contest.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\nLe Minh Thu \u2013 Head of the Organizing Committee of The Future Chef Contest 2023 shared the reason for expanding the contestant: TFC was originally a competition for all those who love food, but over the years the competition has become professional, so most of the participants are students or chefs. This year, with the close theme of “Traditional Meal”, the organizers want young people and students to participate without too much cooking technique or expertise, and at the same time, the organizers also want to spread the values of Vietnamese family meal culture to young people.”<\/p>\n\n\n\nThe contest’s advisory board shared on the topic “Traditional meal”.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\nDr. Truong Thi Hong Minh – Dean of Faculty of Hospitality and organizers shared the challenges for this year’s contest.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n??? ?????? ???? 2023 has a total of 3 rounds, including: Round 1 \u2013 Preliminary round \u2013 Online exam (May \u2013 June); Round 2 \u2013 Immersive Vietnamese flavor \u2013 Offline (Expected mid-July); Round 3 \u2013 GALA Finals \u2013 Elevate traditional meals \u2013 Offline (Mid-August). The competition is divided into 2 groups: Young chefs and students. The best contestants of Round 1 will be divided into a group appropriate to their age, aspirations and each group will have its own marking criteria.<\/p>\n\n\n\nCandidates asked about this year’s TFC contest.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\nThe Organizing Committee and Advisory Board, lecturers, and students at the ceremony.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\nNguyen Van Khang, a contestant from Can Tho who was present at the launch ceremony of the contest shared: \u201cI participated in the contest in 2019, however, at that time, I had no experience, so I was eliminated early. This year, I am determined to return to conquer the competition. I find FAMILY MEAL a close subject but not easy. I hope I will learn a lot of skills and knowledge from the teachers and colleagues from the competition.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
