Our purpose is to drive commerce and prosperity through our unique diversity, and our heritage and values are expressed in our brand promise, Here for good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Standard Chartered PLC is listed on the London and Hong Kong Stock Exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:31px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JOB DESCRIPTION: <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong>The Role Responsibilities<\/strong>: <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of Balance Sheet Management Reporting requirement from VN ALCO, RALCO, local regulatory, MAS.<\/li><li>Supporting BSM, Head to comply with Liquidity and Capital management policies and liquidity \/ capital local requirements.<\/li><li>Active engagement in Balance sheet enhancement by identifying and highlighting balance sheet risk and opportunities as they relate to capital \/ liquidity.<\/li><li>Advising business and providing robust challenge to businesses on matters relating to capital\/liquidity management.<\/li><li>Supporting BSM, Head in delivering the funding \/ liquidity \/ capital initiatives.<\/li><li>Supporting BSM, Head in annual Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) review.<\/li><li>Taking a part in bank-wide strategic and tactical projects as and when required in term of BSM perspectives (e.g.: the partnerships, automation initiatives.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Strategy<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The role is responsible for supporting BSM Head in delivering the capital \/ liquidity management strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Business<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Advising business and providing robust challenge to businesses on matters relating to capital \/ liquidity management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Processes<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The role is responsible for supporting BSM Head in<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>executing annual ICAAP review<\/li><li>capital \/ liquidity management in accordance to Group and local regulations<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>People and Talent<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ensure the completion of ongoing training and development of yourself and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for the roles ensuring that the effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Risk Management<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Active engagement in Balance sheet enhancement by identifying and highlighting balance sheet risk and opportunities as they relate to capital \/ liquidity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Governance<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group \/ country operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Regulatory and Business Conduct<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&#8217;s Values and Code of Conduct.<\/li><li>Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
