NEW STUDENTS IMPRESSED BY THE INAUGURAL CEREMONY OF THE MASTER’S PROGRAM’S FIRST INTAKE IN 2024

On April 26, 2024, the Postgraduate Institute & Leadership held the Opening Ceremony and Mini Talk: “Completing Thesis and Publishing Scientific Papers 2 in 1” in a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere.

At the Opening Ceremony, new students also received a special gift of the Harvard Business Review book set. This gift not only welcomed the new students to Hoa Sen University but also encouraged a spirit of continuous learning, personal development, and leadership inspiration. These books are also included in the curriculum of the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Sharing his excitement about the intriguing start of this new journey, Mr. Nguyen Tan Phong (MBA Class 17 new student), Director of the Legal Consulting Center – Vietnam E-commerce Association, said: “I am very impressed to receive these highly useful Harvard Business Review books. I am looking forward to exchanging and discussing situations from large global enterprises with my professors and classmates in my MBA program.”

New students were eagerly engaged in the first workshop, where experiences on Completing the thesis and Publishing scientific papers 2 in 1 were shared. The faculty members in the Training Committee earnestly exchanged insights on developing graduation thesis topics as well as methods for publishing scientific papers in reputable journals both domestically and internationally. This workshop provided an opportunity for students to exchange and learn research experiences from professors, who are leading researchers in various fields. These shared experiences not only motivated students to overcome personal challenges to complete their courses on time but also provided a clearer understanding of the thesis completion process and effective scientific research approaches and techniques. Dr. Doan Minh Chau, the Director of the Postgraduate Institute & Leadership, shared that “students specializing in Business Administration and English Language have produced many impressive topics published in prestigious national and international journals, including research works recognized by the State Professorship Council. Additionally, many thesis topics by students have been practically applied in their own workplaces and enterprises. Through this sharing session, they hope that new students will be further motivated and passionate about scientific research, enabling them to complete their theses with the highest quality and graduate on time.”

The university also awarded several significant scholarships, up to 100% tuition fee waivers, to honor candidates with outstanding academic and professional achievements, while also providing opportunities and encouragement for individuals with potential, thereby contributing to the sustainable development of both enterprises and society. Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep Anh (new student of the Master’s Program in English Language, Class 13) – Head of Recruitment Department, Hoa Sen Corporation, shared: “I am truly honored to receive a 50% scholarship from the university. I would like to thank Hoa Sen University and the company for providing me with the opportunity to enhance my qualifications and pursue an academic path to further develop myself.”
