Master’s Thesis Defense Committee in English Language Studies (MAE), March 2024!
The Institute of Graduate Studies & Leadership recently convened Master’s Thesis Defense Committee for students pursuing degrees in English Language Studies (MAE). On the 25th and 26th, 6 MAE students effectively defended their graduation thesis topics.
The Defense Committee, led by Dr. Huynh Van Tai, Director of the Master’s program in English Language Studies, comprised esteemed professors holding PhDs, department heads from Hoa Sen University, and distinguished faculty members from reputable universities in the city. The Committee provided thorough and equitable feedback to assist students in refining and enhancing their research topics.
The master’s thesis serves as a crucial benchmark for evaluating academic and scientific research achievements, symbolizing the student’s dedication and commitment to their study program. Mr. Nguyen Xuan My (MAE Student, Batch 4) emphasized the program’s practicality, highlighting its role in augmenting specialized and research knowledge. He stated: “The program’s curriculum emphasizes practicality, enabling students to acquire a wealth of specialized and research-oriented knowledge. This aspect is paramount in preparing students for their future professional endeavors and fostering their ability to conduct independent research even beyond the program’s completion. Additionally, learning from enthusiastic and seasoned educators has been instrumental in my academic journey. Their wealth of knowledge has served as an invaluable resource, as they consistently provide detailed and easily understandable explanations whenever I encounter questions or uncertainties.”
