HOA SEN UNIVERSITY SPREADS THE SPIRIT OF WINNING THE 4TH HO CHI MINH CITY GOLDEN BRAND AWARD IN 2023 TO STUDENTS AND LEARNERS
The Entrepreneur Talk is a seminar series within the project accompanying the businesses awarded the “Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand” prize, organized by Hoa Sen University under the guidance of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade. Along with the theme “Innovation and Sustainability” of the 4th Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand Award in 2023, The Entrepreneur Talk No. 2 with the theme “Innovation and Sustainability, Domestic Market Driving Force Towards the World” brought practical insights from leaders of businesses with impressive products, closely associated with the recognition of Ho Chi Minh City.
The seminar has attracted the attention of leaders at various levels of the industry department, with special guests including:

Speaking at the seminar, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, shared: “The Entrepreneur Talk is designed to create a space for exchange, discussion, and a platform for Ho Chi Minh City Golden Brand businesses to share their journey of building and developing their brands, aiming to spread awareness and elevate the importance of brand image. Through this forum, we hope to contribute to motivating businesses to actively innovate and create, while promoting sustainable development to enhance the competitive advantage of enterprises in both domestic and international markets. In today’s seminar, the speakers will share the values and valuable experiences of their businesses in developing the market from domestic sources, while also inspiring the younger generation of leaders. The Entrepreneur Talk promises to be a forum for exchange and sharing experiences aimed at promoting the brand development of Vietnamese businesses.”
The second edition of The Entrepreneur Talk focused on the story of leveraging the domestic market to bring Vietnamese branded products to the international market. The speakers of the program were Ms. Pham Thi Huan – Chairwoman of the Board of Directors – CEO of Ba Huan Joint Stock Company; Mr. Ly Huy Sang – CEO of Minh Long I Limited Company; and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dong – Deputy General Director – Southern Rubber Industry Joint Stock Company – Casumina. They shared insights from their internal perspectives and strategies for international market development of their businesses.
The event also attracted the attention of numerous businesses, journalists, lecturers, students, and participants from undergraduate and postgraduate programs at Hoa Sen University. Embracing the entrepreneurial spirit, businesses, and young participants actively posed questions and exchanged ideas with the speakers on issues such as risk management, business development, and concerns of the next generation regarding the Vietnamese brand in the international market.
The Entrepreneur Talk will return with various other topics reflecting the current economic landscape of Vietnam in 2024. The Organizing Committee hopes to continue accompanying businesses that have achieved the “Golden Brand” award and spreading the entrepreneurial spirit to younger generations. Ms. Nguyễn Thị Kim Ngọc expressed her hope: “We hope that this series of seminars will bring many experiences and valuable lessons from businesses in the process of building their brands to serve as a foundation and motivation for young people as well as startup businesses.”
