Hoa Sen University: Schedule to organize the Research Proposal Committee, Thesis Defense Committee & Internship of the master’s program 2023-2024;
Based on the schedule for the academic year 2023 – 2024 approved by the University Board, the Institute of GraduateStudies & Leadership would like to inform students of the schedule to organize Research Proposal Committee, Thesis Defense Committee as well as internship schedules for students of Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, English Language (MAE) and TourismManagement (MAT) are as follows:

I. Schedule to organize Research Proposal Committee in Business Administration (MBA):
1. Subjects & conditions of registration:
Students in the Master of Business Administration program have accumulated at least 30 credits in the training program, of which:
- Accumulated 9 credits of required majoring block.
- Accumulated modules Research Methods.

Students download the application form on the website in the Research Proposal Defense Guide section and submit it within the expected time will be notified by the Institute before each event.
Research Proposal Committee shall be held only when there are sufficient numbers registered students (minimum 4 students/Committee).
Students who register but do not apply on time or do not participate in the protection will have to pay the fee again in the next phase: VND 2,000,000/time.
II. Schedule to organize Research Proposal Committee in English Language (MAE):
1. Subjects & conditions of registration:
Students in the MAE’s program ( batch 6 and earlier) have accumulated at least 30 credits in the training program, of which:
- Accumulated 9 credits of required majoring block.
- Cumulative module Research Methods in applied linguistics.

III. Schedule to organize Thesis Defense Committee:
1. Subjects & conditions of registration:
Before each registration time, students in the master’s program in Business Administration, English Language and Tourism Management must meet all of the following conditions:
- Completion of the training program (eligible to accumulate credits for all modules, except for the Thesis module) and have an overall cumulative GPA of 5.5 or higher.
- Meet the foreign language output requirements according to the training regulations applicable to the course. (See information foreign language certificates here)
- Do not violate HSU’s regulations on graduate training.
- A decision has been made to assign instructors and research topics memoir. Students carry out the thesis for at least 06 months.

IV. Schedule for internship
1. Subjects & conditions of registration:
Students from the enrollment 2022 and have an internship in the course. Students need to achieve a minimum cumulative number of credits of 30/60 of the total number of credits of the training program. In particular, depending on the training program, students must accumulate a number of compulsory modules, specifically:
Required module in MBA Program
- Accumulated 9 credits of required majoring block.
- Accumulated modules Research Methods.
Required module in MAE Program
- Accumulated 9 credits of required majoring block.
- Cumulative module Research Methods in applied linguistics.
Required module in MAT Program
- Accumulated 2 module of required majoring block. (8 credits)
- Accumulated modules Research Methods (4 credits)

The Internship will be held at the beginning of each semester with the following schedules:
