As the Sustainability Compliance Intern, you will be part of the project team to create the Waste Management Database. Waste database includes type of waste, waste volume, waste disposal technologies, waste generator and others. We also need to identify stakeholders on a country level, working in Informal sectors, segregators, aggregators, converters of waste into Raw material or products. This database can be used within IKEA organization especially by Business Teams to explore development opportunities for circular materials and products.
You’re the final-year student with strong interest in sustainability topics. You are proactive and love to ask ‘why…?and ‘what if…? You can communicate fluently in English and have a good computer skill (especially Excel). You enjoy working with research and information management.

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) located in Ho Chi Minh City (7th floor, Sofic Tower, Lot 5-5, No. 8-10, Mai Chi Tho Street, Thu Thiem Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam).
You will work together with the Project Leader Dao Thi Ngoc Mai for three to six months. We wish you can start on May 17, 2021
