\u201cLearning through service to the community\u201d, \u201cLearning with the community\u201d (English: Service-Learning – SL) is a concept widely used in universities in the US since the 1990s and then spread in developed countries around the world. In Vietnam, the SL model is being interested by a number of universities, in which, Hoa Sen University (HSU) is one of the first higher education institutions in Vietnam to research and introduce the SL model. Teaching since 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Up to now, HSU is applying 5 models of Service-Learning, including: Service Learning Classroom (SLC), Service-Learning Project (SLA), Service-Learning Project (SLI), Service-Learning International Project (ISL), and the Overseas Service-Learning (OSL) Project with a number of subjects and projects that have been and are being implemented, receiving positive feedback from students, community partners, and lecturers participation”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
