The Sales Manager develops, implements, and communicates short- and long-term strategic sales goals that support the achievement of revenue, yield management and associated budgets; establishes appropriate account responsibility including recognition of new and repeat business opportunities; provides training to sales staff and initiates account development through strategies such as prospecting, direct mailings, tours and personal appointments; creates, reviews, and analyzes sales reports to report progress and develop initiatives to refocus on objectives as needed; books and services accounts including major accounts and group sales; coordinates with marketing and communication groups to develop appropriate sales informational materials; performs additional marketing and communications activities depending upon area of responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
