Position: Deputy Port Director

Job description
Port operations management

Port Operation:

Manage the operations of cargo operations at the Port
Build relationships with inland ports in the region to expand the satellite network in the region. Use the relationship to regulate goods in case the Port is stuck at the wharf.
Plan and develop optimal and effective solutions. Meet the needs of maximum cargo exploitation
Advise the CEO on developing or expanding the wharf system.
Responsible for solving problems that arise during Port operations.
Port Engineering

Manage the equipment system at the Port to serve the maintenance of bridges and motor vehicles
Schedule regular, optimal, and effective equipment maintenance
Proposing plans to renew and replace Port equipment
Develop a cost estimate table for the Technical Department, reserve necessary equipment for the repair and maintenance process of Port Crane equipment.
Responsible for solving technical problems that arise during operations. Submit to the CEO for advice when problems arise or costs are beyond the authority to resolve.
Other management work

Diplomatic work: Maintain and develop relationships with relevant state units and agencies to resolve issues that arise during operations at the Port
Hygiene and labor safety: Ensured to always be performed well
Human Resource Management

Building and training personnel at the management level.
Assign work to employees appropriately, have appropriate change and development plans/orientations.
Grasp the thoughts, feelings, and aspirations of employees to promptly take measures to stabilize employees’ thoughts and psychology.
Control and develop resources:
Propose training programs and plans to improve skills and professional qualifications for employees in the Management Division according to the Company’s general human resource development orientation.
Evaluate human resources, management capacity and development orientation for each employee in the Management Division
Other jobs

Direct the implementation of consultation work and proactively resolve arising issues within assigned powers.
Build, maintain and develop good relationships with relevant authorities and agencies to support common work.
Administrative work:

Organize, build and perfect the operating mechanism and management of Port activities
Deploy and build department-related processes.
Perform other tasks when assigned by the CEO.
POWER:

Require units within the company to fully and promptly provide necessary documents for inspection and control of related work.
Manage and assign appropriate responsibilities to each member of the Unit.
Propose to the Board of Directors a human resources plan: arrangement – assignment; appointment – dismissal; recruitment – dismissal; reward – discipline; raise salary – lower salary… according to Company regulations.
Have the right to grant leave and personal leave to employees in the Unit according to regulations.
Manage and properly perform specialized tasks.
Being allocated CCDC, VPP, MMTB… to meet job requirements.
Participate in developing plans, projects… to improve the operational efficiency of departments/divisions/Company.
Enjoy other benefits according to the Company’s regulations.
Job requirements
Level of knowledge:

Graduated from University or higher majoring in Engineering, Logistics or other fields but knowledgeable about Logistics, or have experience in a similar position for at least 5 years.
Skill:

Management and operations skills.
Planning skills.
Skills in organizing and supervising work.
Analytical, synthesizing and reporting skills.
Good communication skill.
Experience:

Minimum experience of 5 years or more.
Quality and health:

Have good ethics, good manners, and a healthy lifestyle.
Honest, sensitive, gentle and have a high sense of responsibility to preserve assets, build and stick with the Company
