“Learning through service to the community”, “Learning with the community” (English: Service-Learning – SL) is a concept widely used in universities in the US since the 1990s and then spread in developed countries around the world. In Vietnam, the SL model is being interested by a number of universities, in which, Hoa Sen University (HSU) is one of the first higher education institutions in Vietnam to research and introduce the SL model.
