Hoa Sen University has just announced the admission methods for 2024 and the new majors that the school plans to open.
Dr. Phan Thi Vietnam, Vice Principal of Hoa Sen University, said that in 2024, the school will select 4,000 candidates for 33 university training programs, including 4 new majors, with 4 admission methods.
Specifically, the methods include admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam; Admission based on high school transcripts; Direct admission and admission with the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and Ho Chi Minh City National University in 2024. The admission method for high school transcripts alone accounts for 60% of the target.
For the admission method of high school transcripts, candidates choose one of the following admission methods: admission based on academic results (transcripts) of 3 years of high school excluding the 2nd semester of grade 12, or admission based on Academic results (transcripts) of 3 years of high school, or admission by subject combination. Currently, the school is accepting admission applications using this method.
Dr. Vietnam further informed that this year the school plans to enroll in 4 new majors: Vietnamese-Japanese information technology, Chinese language, law and multimedia communication.
“For the Chinese language major, due to the company’s cooperation, successful candidates will receive tuition support in the form of scholarships. Accordingly, the tuition fee for this major will only be 45 million VND/academic year, If students do not receive a scholarship, they will have to pay about 60 million VND/school year. At the same time, tuition fees for other majors in 2024 will not increase compared to 2023 and will remain stable for the entire course,” Ms. Nam said.
According to Ms. Nam, new students of the class of 2024 will also be able to participate in the Hoa Sen Go Global international integration trip in Malaysia and Thailand before the start of school. This is a new point of the school compared to previous school years.
