BEST – QHSE: Course for students majoring in Logistics and International Business at Hoa Sen University
For the first time, the Faculty of Logistics – International Trade of Hoa Sen University (HSU) and ASSIST Organization (Philippines) together with Logistics Group – Bollore (France) jointly opened training classes on Quality Management System Quality – Health and Safety – Environment (QHSE) for students majoring in Logistics and International Business.
Up to now, the BEST – QHSE course at Hoa Sen University is still the only and exclusive program within the scope of the project in the Southern region. Participating in the course, students will grasp general theory in the logistics industry through lectures that are related to practice, easy to understand and apply. The course instructors also have practical experience with more than 20 years in the profession. The lessons will have the participation of guest speakers from logistics businesses in Ho Chi Minh City sharing perspectives and experiences in real working environments.
Completing the course, students will have a deeper understanding of the logistics industry and orient their future careers. Through the exam at the end of the course, students will be granted a certificate/diploma and its value has been accredited by industry organizations. This will be a stepping stone, a knowledge base to support you on your future career path.
In addition to the above course, HSU Faculty of Logistics – International Trade also enhances experiential activities and field visits. Through these activities, students can easily understand theory and apply it when working practically at businesses. Most recently, there was a field trip and study session right at Tan Cang – STC.
The goal of the practical lesson is to help students understand how to handle and prepare the necessary documents for customs clearance of a shipment subject to document inspection or inspection, from which they will know how to deal with issues that often arise in disputes between customs officials and declarants, as well as know how to resolve each issue.
