The Education New Zealand (ENZ) and the University of Auckland (UA) Short-Term Virtual Micro-Internship Scholarship Program provides students with the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2611\ufe0f Obtain practical work experience with multinational and New Zealand companies<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2611\ufe0f Exchange and connect with other international students in the region<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The three-week program, which requires about 10 \u201315 hours of work per week, is intended to provide international students with the opportunity to hone their skills and practical industry knowledge, thereby promoting their future career development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students in the program will be assigned to work in groups of 4-6 students from different countries (Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Japan, and India) to solve a business theme problem for an Auckland-based business. Throughout the program, each group will be accompanied by a personal mentor who will provide coaching and support. Students will be given access to an online platform to connect with their team, exchange and submit documents, and receive feedback from mentors. At the end of the internship, students will submit a report or present the results of their group’s project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previous participants in this program include Auckland Council, Auckland Transport, Auckland Unlimited, BDO, Deloitte, KPMG, Mercury, Orion Healthcare, PwC, Samsung, and Vodafone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Applied criterion:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1\ufe0f\u20e3 Vietnamese student who studying bachelor’s programs at a Vietnamese university from year 3 or above. Students from different disciplines can apply. However, the program does not allow you to pursue studies in the following fields: Medicine, Pharmacy, and health-related programs; Law; and experimental sciences such as Chemistry, Biology, and Oceanography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2\ufe0f\u20e3 Use English effectively (IELTS Academic 6.0 or higher).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3\ufe0f\u20e3 Fill out the online application form, which includes a requirement to submit your English CV as well as a link to a video of a student presentation in English in which you introduce yourself and explain why you want to participate in this program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
