‘How Vietnamese women are depicted in Literature?<\/em><\/p>\n

Literature\u00a0may allow us to discuss the complexity of Vietnamese femininities, gender patterns, and the many transformations, chosen or not, that surround protagonists immersed in unstable settings. Exploring Vietnamese women characters through literature is never ‘innocent’ and tell us about perceptions, representations, and roles, and open a window on the writers, the society and the individuals.<\/em><\/p>\n

Starting from that simple question, the presentation intends to find a ‘guideline’ in the diversity of literary genres and actions. It also means making a\u00a0 choice among writers, times and places and to assume\u00a0its inevitable subjectivity.’<\/em><\/p>\n
