The Program Assistant will report directly to Program Coordinators. This position is a local (not expat)
contract position to end in Dec 2022, with the option for renewal pending funding availability. This
position is to be based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Key Responsibilities
▪ Support implementation of program activities to achieve goals, objectives, and targets within
budget, including workshops, training, and curriculum development
▪ Coordinate program data collection for documentation and reporting purposes (database, data
input/cleaning)
▪ Assist in writing social media posts, periodic and final program/project reports, annual reports,
and other documents
▪ Liaise with counterparts to communicate program requirements and collect reports
▪ Up to 30% of travel; work will involve evenings and weekends
Qualifications
▪ Minimum of 2 years (full-time) of grassroots or nonprofit/NGO experience and prior experience in
advocacy, empowerment, and capacity building activities, preferred. If you do not meet this
requirement, please consider applying to our 6-month internship program
▪ Proven experience working in remote areas; ability to undertake frequent, tough travel conditions;
willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, including weekends and holidays
▪ Strong coordination, facilitation, and organizational skills
▪ Excellent oral and written communication skills
▪ Technology-oriented; excellent computer skills including MS Office
▪ Fluent in Vietnamese; English level at IELTS 6.0 level equivalent
▪ Ability to work and prosper in a team environment
▪ Ethical and accountable
▪ Bachelor degree required
