The conference organizers invite papers, abstracts and presentations relevant to the theme of the conference&nbsp;\u201cASEAN: The Power of One\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Topics<\/p>\n<p>Participants are welcome to present both empirical and conceptual research papers providing the basis for inspiring, critical and constructive sessions. We encourage multi-disciplinary submissions. The range of sub-topics related to the theme of the conference includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Regional integration process<\/li>\n<li>Tourism Education in ASEAN<\/li>\n<li>Innovation in Hospitality and Tourism in ASEAN<\/li>\n<li>Challenges of tourism destination sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Assessing progress in sustainable tourism<\/li>\n<li>Tourism and governance<\/li>\n<li>Mobilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Who should attend?&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academics and educators in tourism<\/li>\n<li>Managers of hotels\/restaurants\/tourism businesses<\/li>\n<li>Trainers in tourism\/hospitality\/restaurant fields<\/li>\n<li>Tourism researchers and industry consultants<\/li>\n<li>Interregional organisations with interest in tourism industry<\/li>\n<li>Administrators of tourism management educational programs<\/li>\n<li>Tourism industry executives and representatives of multinational firms<\/li>\n<li>Financial institutions and tourism industry investors<\/li>\n<li>Tourism policy makers and national tourism organisation directors<\/li>\n<li>Students from hospitality &amp; tourism programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"color:rgb(0,0,0);font-family:Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size:13px\">\n<p><u><strong>Submissions<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<p>We invite potential authors to submit a full paper for consideration by the scientific committee. The deadline for&nbsp;&nbsp;paper submission is &nbsp;15 December 2018<\/p>\n<p>PAPER SUBMISSION<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Papers should be no more than 3000 words (excluding references). Once accepted, the corresponding author will receive a notification. At least one of the authors must register and present the paper at the conference.<\/li>\n<li>Manuscripts submitted to the ATRAC 2018 should be original contribution not exceeding &nbsp;3,000 words, and should not have been previously published nor under consideration for publication elsewhere.
